FYI BMAC trails
We had a somewhat violent storm come through our trail areas a few days ago. We have had reports of trees down across trails on Birdseye. Trail #3 south, Polaris Run and possibly others. It could be the same on any of our BMAC trails.
We are advising any members to carry chainshaws and be prepared to turn around or move large branchs or clear trees.
We appreciate any help that BMAC/VASA members contribute in keeping our trail system clear.

The Town of Ira and West Rutland has a required speed limit for ATV's on the Class 3 roads that have recently been given permission for VASA ATV's trails to BMAC. The speed limit is 25 mph. but as a club, the Officers and Trail Administrators are requesting that the limit be 15 mph at the most. If the road is dusty please be considerate and lower your speed more. There are year round residents, horses and family pets on these roads.
As it has been mentioned by a resident on the Ira Birdseye Rd that is on the East side of Birdseye MT., he told our Trail Coordinator that he doesn't mind the ATVers, but they've got to slow down.
If we receive complaints we will lose the right to the recently acquired Class 3's. Please slow down for these short distances. We have worked hard to gain this privilege for VASA ATVer's, please assist us in keeping this newly acquired permission.
Happy Trails!
