BMAC Rescue Drill

The use of a 6 man Polaris Ranger for Demo is being provided by Outdoors in Motion for the rescue drill!!! Thank you Del & Jan.

Upcoming BMAC Rescue Drill

Plans are forming for the big BMAC/WRASC atv rescue drill with all our surrounding towns fire and rescue/1st Responders on 9-25-10 to be held at the Ira BMAC trailhead. All VASA members are encouraged to participate. This drill will train you on how to respond during different emergencies on the trail.

This practice drill will train you on how to help our Fire and 1st Responders if you are available during an emergency. It could be moving rescue personal or equipment during an accident on the trails, or find a hunter/fisherman in distress or lost, or transporting fire and equipment to a remote MT fire. Contact us for more info and to sign up to be part of the training.

VASA Education and Safety Training V.E.S.T.

I am in the process of organizing a VEST training class for kids 12-18 to be held in our local area. That age group is required by VT State law to have the training. The course is setup and given by VASA trained instructors and is free.

If you have children in that age group that atv, they need this certification. If they are stopped and don't have this certification, there is a $400 fine. If you have friends that have children in that age group let them know of this information.

Please reply with name and age to;
